2021 IB & IP Open Class Announcement and Registration
Ritsumeikan Uji is proud to announce that it is offering three Open Class days this year:
- Thursday, June 3
- Friday, June 4
- Friday, September 10
Each Open Class day will last from 8:55 to 13:35.
These events have been specially designed for families interested in enrolling their children in our junior high school IP Course or senior high school IB (International Baccalaureate Diploma) Course, educational professionals, and community members.
Guests will have the chance to learn more about the unique design and educational opportunities offered by the IP and IB courses, attend a wide range of IP and IB lessons, and join a Q&A forum to hear from students and teachers about their personal IP/IB experiences.
To register your attendance and see more information about the IP and IB courses, please visit our dedicated 2021 IB & IP Open Class Website at: https://sites.google.com/ritsib.org/ritsib-open–class-2021/home.
Please note that due to the ongoing public health crisis, the June dates will be held entirely online. Attendees will need to create free Zoom accounts to participate in those events. We currently plan, however, to hold the September 10 Open Class as a hybrid event, where visitors will be able to choose whether to attend in person or online. More information on this can be found on the September 10 registration page, which can be accessed via the Open Class website.
Guests planning to attend the hybrid event in person are kindly asked to take public transportation due to the limited parking space on campus. (Please do not park at the Uji botanical gardens or Taiyo Gaoka sports facilities.) Buses from Okubo and Uji Stations are frequent and take about 10 minutes to arrive.
We would like to thank everyone for their continuing support for our school and IB Department. Our Open Class events are truly collaborative efforts within the Rits IB community, and we take great pride in inviting you to enjoy the morning with us!
