2018 IB Course University Results

Many students from our 2018 IB Course graduating class are already on their way at university or getting ready to start in the fall. This post gives an update of the university placements of the class. This year we expect 10 graduates to matriculate to colleges and universities overseas and 17 graduates to matriculate within Japan, with a handful of graduates still pending. Whereas previous cohorts had 50% or more students matriculate overseas, the 2018 result represents a shift toward Japanese universities. We expect 100% of 2018 graduates to matriculate to a 4 year college or university within a year of graduation. Students will matriculate to some old favorites, including the University of British Columbia and the University of Toronto in Canada, the University of Sheffield in the U.K., the University of Eindhoven in the Netherlands, and Waseda University and Osaka University as well as Ritsumeikan University in Japan. We also will have IB students joining schools that are new to our graduates, including small Hendrix College in the United States, and Australian National University and the University of Adelaide in Australia, and the University of Leeds in the U.K. A full list of acceptances and matriculations can be found here:

We are very proud of all of our graduates and wish them the best with their next steps in the world.
